I’ve had dogs my whole life but I recently noticed other people pet them differently. I just scratch all over while other people pet and others mildly “rub”. What is the proper method? Thank you for answering.

Where can I massage or pet my dog to make him relaxed and happy?
Also, if you know any other easy ways to make your dog happy besides walking or giving treats, that will help too

My fiance and I just broke up and I’m trying to stay single for as long as humanly possible until I get my head straight.
Should I get a dog? Will that help me feel less lonely? I don’t have a roommate and it’s too quiet here.

just got alittle dog about 1or2yrs old, have a 5yr old boy, dog will act like it wants boy to pet it but when boy trys to dog shows teeth does this mean to keep child away from dog?

My dog’s reaction is hilarious. I pretending I am leading him down the aisle way like Paul bearer used to do the Undertaker. I am facing him and saying “oooohhhh yess, come girlfriend,, ohhh yessss girlfriennd. Ohhhh my girlfriend. Ohhhhh yes yes yes.” While I do those silly gestures and faces Bearer does. My dog just follows me looking puzzled like ‘wtf’ lol!

They can’t speak, have near zero attention span, are always dependent on the owner for everything, and need to be trained (they can’t learn on their own).
So as an advanced human being, what is the purpose and objective of keeping an animal in house? animal should be in wild, and it is unnatural relationship between man and dog.

I have a Pet Sitting/Dog Walking Business in Middletown, OH called Bark Fitness. I am having trouble finding pet owners in the Middletown area. I have had a lot of success getting clients outside of Middletown, but I would really like to build my business closer to home. Any suggestions? Where do Pet Owners hang? Best way to advertise?
