Fighting Dogs Is A Hot Issue. Is It Equally Cruel To Hunt Animals For Sport?
Dog fighting is becoming more of a hot button issue. Dogs are virtually innocent creatures that should serve as a companion. Oftentimes they are used as an assistant in the recreational killing of other animals. Fighting dogs and roosters is no longer an acceptable form of entertainment. Why do people accept the killing of game for purposes other than food and warmth? How can a group of armed men chasing animals be considered a sport?

Hunters eat their kills or find someone who will.
Yes, they take the head as a trophy, but you don’t eat the head anyway.
Also, game animals have EVOLVED to be hunted. If they aren’t culled, they over breed and kill eco-systems.
Deer are responsible for more human death than Moutain Lions and bears COMBINED!
Don’t feel sorry for them, really, their fine.
Fighting dogs are tortured.
They are beaten, starved, and forced to tear apart family members.

It is cruel to hunt for sport. Hunting should only be used to provide food on the table IMHO. Why kill animals unnecessarily? It is cruel and uncalled for and I just don’t agree with it.
i can understand you 100%. but who do we blame in this situation the anmals or humans? Humans have teached these animals how kill and hunt, they are just like children. if we teach a child to steal wont they learn and be a robber. i think that killing animals as a sport is wrong and menacing. whats the difference btwn killing animals for fun and torture, nothing. unfortuneatly killing animals for fun is legal, and we cant stop them. what fun is there in killing a creature…NOTHING! just like bull (Spain sport)fighting and deer hunting..it is legal and nothing can stop the killing and torturing spot. ppl that practice these things are idiots and incorrect. unless we take a stand nothing can really help, some of thse sports are considered a part of culture. think about this, othersd hunt so they can display the animals head in their living room like some kind ofdecoration, and other (JLO) choose to kill these innocent creatures for their fur. we are now in a new decade and era where we have cotton to warm and cover our bodies. we are not hunters and gatheres from the bc era, we are now civilized. unfortuneatly others see killing animals for decor and situations rather than food supply we need to survive.
PETA is great and they take a stand to protect animals.
i completely agree with tbjumper0514 and the others who said similar things. humans are meat eatters, we evolved hunting. yes we have cows and pigs now, but not everyone likes to just be handed things. some people take pride in being able to truely provide for themselves and their families. do you think there are enough “natural” predators left in the wild to control deer populations? there aren’t enough wolves, bears, cougars, and others to keep the numbers in control because humans kill them more than they do the prey animals. i do believe if you kill it, you should eat it. and no, i don’t hunt myself.
