Pick him up and put him in there if you can, if not I'm not really sure...I'm sorry this didn't really help! We taught our dog by saying "go lay down" Now, every time we say that, he goes to his kennel..

some dogs are just not dog house dogs. one of my current dogs will go into his crate without being told, but he hates the dog house. My other dog loves the dog house tho. If you really want to train him - put him inside when he tries to come out say no! When he can wait lets say 5 seconds inside without the urge to come out, say good boy and give him a small treat - repeat the exercise and extend the length of time he has to stay in there. I have a very hyperactive corgi at home - he has a sit stay carpet near the door. He started of 2 minutes sitting and staying by himself, he can now stay there for an hour - not moving away unless being told to. Remember when training - consistency is the key - don't let the dog have his way - it will confuse them - such as awww he's scared of the doggy house, he doesn't like it, it's ok, then he'll learn that next time i'll try harder to get out and they'll let me back out.
