How Many Dogs And Cats Are Bought In Pet Stores Every Year?
How many dogs and cats are bought in pet stores every year? I’m doing a research paper on pets, yet I cannot find these statistics. Anyone know or can lead me to the right direction?

Some say 100,000 but other estimates are at around 600,000. Either way, too many is the answer.
The main problem is simply that many people do not get their cats or dogs, puppies and kittens spayed and neutered. If they all did that, the numbers would decrease significantly in the next year.
