Im Looking At Getting A Pet Bird. I Want Something Very Affectionate And Friendly Any Size Is Ok.?
I dont know any thing about what types of birds are good as pets, i was thinking a lovebird, lorikeet or parrot of some kind. Any ideas?!

I reckon go for a hand-raised cockatiel. they are friendly and affectionate, love to be with their owners as much as possible but aren’t so needy that they’d resort to feather plucking if they don’t get enough attention. they are capable of talking (males in particular) and will pick up whistle tunes quickly. also their average lifespan is 15-20 years so you don’t have the lifetime commitment that you get with some of the larger parrots (unless of course lifetime commitment is what you’d want)
