I’m thinking about volunteering at the adoptions fairs for an animal rescue organization. If I pet other cats and come home with other cats’ scents on my shirt, will my cat react negatively? Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I’ve never owned a cat before.

My Cockapoo just gets so angry he starts hopping around barking. He is fine UNTIL I pet that other dog.

I’ve had my dog for about 6 years now. Whenever other dogs come to my house, my dog either barks and tries to bite the other dog, or is scared and hides under my kitchen table. Even when my dog looks to my neightbors yard and their dog is outside, he barks at him, i’ve been wanting a second dog for a while now, but my dogs never lived with another dog before, any suggestions?

I know he’ll take wonderful care of them. He’s so affectionate, and he hasn’t even attacked me in a few weeks, since that time he mauled my 5 year old.
