What Is The Best/most Common Breed Of Pet Bird And Why?
i have hatched and raised many many chickens but thought i have never really gotten into a household pet bird. im looking for a family oriented bird, easy to handle/train, and just all around a nice pleasant pet bird. i would like as much DETAIL as possible on WHY you think this bird is the best, etc etc. thanks.

Budgies or parakeets. They’re cute, little, relatively nice sounding and not all too time consuming. Training it wasn’t too hard for me, but it shouldn’t be difficult for you (if you choose to get one ofcourse). They are not like dogs, they don’t need constant attention, and some budgies can even be taught to repeat words or even whole sentences.
