My son found this enormous toad in our garden one summer; named it and everything. We kept it all summer in an old glass aquarium, but setup for a toad.
We caught live crickets in the field next to us, and if a fly got in the house, my boys would catch it, remove one wing, and watch the toad catch it.
We went on a 4 day holiday, and my son swindled his grandma into feeding this thing. She actually went to the pet store, stocked up on the 7cent live crickets, and fed our pet toad for 4 days. LOL- even she enjoyed watching this thing hunt down its prey!
Aftr an entire summer of this, we let it free to hibernate; my son cried for a week. LOL
