What ever happened to that show?) Look at the situation like this..... if they were your kids, would you allow them to have food fights at the dinner table? It's just not appropriate behavior and it upsets everyone. As the alpha, you would put your foot down and restore peace to the meal time adventure. So, you should with the dogs as well. You have a dominant dog and a subordinate dog. The subordinate dog needs you (the alpha) to lend a hand and allow him/her to eat a meal in peace, which means separating them, or confining the dominant dog during meal time so that he can't gorge on excess food and be a d!ck when it comes to food in general ..... and the subordinate dog gets a complete meal in peace. Whether it be a lead, kennel, crate, different room, whatever it takes to keep both dogs seperated at meal time is the way to go for a happy, healthy pack. (I like “24″, too. What ever happened to that show?)
