Never free a pet bird. Freeing a pet will ensure it a pretty bad death. The best thing that could happen would be for it to land on a person. But that doesn’t always happen. Why would you free your bird when there are so many online classifieds like craigslist and birdboard
Releasing your pet bird will most likely kill it. Pets generally cannot find food, fend for itself or escape predators. They haven’t been taught like wild birds, and just don’t have the skills.
Why do you want to release it? Why do you want it to die slowly, painfully, alone and scared?
Not a very nice thing to do.
